October 2013 Newsletter

A Great Cause!

As we begin our approach to the holiday season we also turn our attention, more so than usual, to those who may be less fortunate or are experiencing some hard times.  During October Angela’s will donate $1 to the New Hampshire Food Bank for every pound of fresh pasta that we sell.  Every dollar donated provides 2 meals.  Please help bring a little extra comfort to those in need.

Cheese of the Month:

Vermont Farmstead AleHouse Cheddar

The Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company in South Woodstock, Vermont is the producer of award winning unique and excellent cheeses.  Starting with their own Vermont artisan cheddar, they make this cheese tipsy by adding two kinds of brew from a local brewer Harpoon®, using both their Munich Dark and IPA to soak the curds during the cheese making process for full ale flavor.  By tearing the curd to create more surface area, they are able to truly soak up the flavor of the beer. AleHouse Cheddar leads with a fragrant ale nose, has a flavorful balance of cheddar and nuts and ends with a strong hop finish.  This cheese makes a great pairing to any brew.

Starting with our Starting with our own Vermont artisan cheddar, we’ve made this Vermont staple tipsy by hop finish. Makes a great pairing partner to any brew
