Wines of the Month:

Sean Minor Pinot Noir

Winemaker Notes:  This 2010 vintage is from the central coast of California and is 100% pinot noir.  This wine displays aromas of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry with a hint of earthy notes.  On the palate, the Pinot offers bright flavors of strawberry and cherry combined with hints of tobacco and tar.  The bright acidity combined with sweet oak results in a lingering finish.

Sean Minor Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker Notes:  This 2010 vintage is from Sonoma County, CA and is 100% sauvignon blanc.  This wine is rich and complex with aromas of ruby grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruit.  On the palate, the combined flavors of fresh melon, fig and lime are balanced perfectly to form a crisp, mouthwatering texture and a lingering finish.

Both wines are perfect additions to a Thanksgiving table.

Pasta of the Month:

Sweet Pumpkin Ravioli in Cinnamon Pasta – Perfect as an appetizer or dessert.  Serve with our mincemeat or a cheddar apple sauce (recipe on the package).

Pkg. of 10   $6.95

Cheese of the Month:

Cranberry WindsorDale

From The Vermont Farmstead Cheese Co., this cheese is homage to Britain’s famous farmhouse cheeses of yore.  This raw cow’s milk cheese is made using a late 1800’s recipe and a traditional peg mill imported from England.  The peg mill tears the curds versus traditional cutting for a more open crumbly texture.  The result is a creamy white cheese, the addition of cranberries creates a burst of tart flavor, and the cheese leaves a honeyed aftertaste. Perfect for the holiday season.

November Special @ $17.95/lb.
